Appointments & bookings
Appointments at Balsam Natural Health are available by booking only and are subject to availability. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you.
By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Fees & payment
Individual consultations
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
The remaining balance is payable at the time of your appointment.
Appointments are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Packages & programmes
Packages and programmes may be paid in full upfront or by instalment, as outlined at the time of purchase.
Package payments are non-refundable once commenced, unless otherwise required by law.
Any unused sessions or inclusions are subject to the package terms and expiry dates provided at purchase.
Fees are clearly communicated at the time of booking. Prices may change from time to time, but confirmed bookings and purchased packages will not be affected.
Cancellation & no-show policy
Appointments are prepared for in advance and reserved solely for you.
Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will be charged 50% of the consultation fee.
Missed appointments (no-shows) will also be charged the full consultation fee.
This policy exists because short-notice cancellations usually cannot be filled and prevent another client from accessing care.
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for full details.
Scope of practice
Balsam Natural Health provides naturopathic and nutrition support intended to complement, not replace, medical care.
We do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe pharmaceutical medications.
Information and recommendations provided are not a substitute for medical advice from your GP or specialist.
You are encouraged to continue working with your medical providers as needed.
Where appropriate, we may recommend that you seek further medical assessment or care.
Client responsibility
To support safe and effective care, clients agree to:
Provide accurate and complete health information
Inform us of any changes to health status, medications, or supplements
Take responsibility for decisions made regarding their health
While care is tailored and evidence-informed, individual responses vary and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Communication between appointments
Reasonable brief communication (such as clarification questions) may be supported between appointments. More detailed guidance, plan changes, or new concerns may require a booked consultation.
Response times may vary, and urgent concerns should be directed to appropriate medical services.
